* For the baseline three-gene-mean thresholds, the cutoff of 0.5 is suggested by the two peaks in Figure 1, the cutoff of 0.1 is derived from the mean + 2SD of the healthy distribution, and the cutoff of 0.57 maximizes the sum of sensitivity and specificity of the three-gene-mean in the primary cohort at 8 weeks.
