MD-2 and CD14 mRNA expression by primary nasal epithelial cells from healthy patients (n = 9) and NCI-H292 cells. MD-2 and CD14 mRNA expression was analyzed by quantitative RT-PCR. Results were normalized using GAPDH as endogenous control. Expression changes are presented as 2−ΔCt × 105 indicating the difference in threshold cycle between the housekeeping gene GAPDH and the investigated genes
